Nice one. What kind of gearbox and diff are you using? And what is the main function of the car going to be?

I've seen two photos of a brown 230 sedan with big chrome wheels and a turbo RB motor in it, don't know anything about it though

Thats scotts from Sydney, yea I borrowed his idea on the swap, first saw it a few years back.

Gearbox is stock R33 5speed, fits fine in transmission tunnel with no modification apart from custom gearbox mount, a navara speedo gear can be inserted into the R33 box to convert it back to a cable driver speedo, so the original speedo is operational

Um main function will be cruiser diff is stock H190 open wheel,

Its been about 4 years off the road now, should have left it stock and built a nice 510 lol

Looks nice and straight, but I am sure you have put alot of work into it  I love the colour you have gone with under the bonnet I think it will really suit the car. What are the carbs off the original motor from??

I don't know why but I am really surprised how much the RB fills the engine bay.

Looks great mate I can't to see it as it progresses.

thanks mate, the carbs are off a 74 260z 2+2 but are long gone. I knew I wanted a silver just took a while to find the right shade, ended up goin with a mercedes colour called iridium. Stripped the car to bare metal and 3 nice thick coats of two pack primer, blocked the primer back with a longboard and 120 grit, blocked with 240 and reprimed the car with another 3 coats. 240 block sanded.

just need to work my way through to 800 wet sanding and paint the exterior.

it will get painted one day lol

I'm interested in the modified upper radiator support for ease of engine removal and installation.
Do you have any photos of how you modified this?

The radiator support panel just bolts up to the rest of the frame. Stock setup mate, that's how they come from the factory.

Friggin awesome isn't it!

BTW, great build up piccy's, love what your doing with the donk. I've spent waaaaay too much on the L but I just had too many bits lying around to start collecting RB bits too.

Keep up the great work :cheers
