I've been brutal to this thing and I can't break the gasket seal. I've held it by the nose and reefed it up and down. I've tried screw driver in the bolt holes to split it to get a pry bar in there. Hell I tied zip ties to the fan mount put my foot on the sump and tried to pull it off that way.

use a razor blade or very sharp stanley knife blade to separate the gasket

you will then need the same said blade to remove both halves of the gasket from each surface.

as you run it around the pump, you may find a bolt etc that you may have missed.

are you 1000% certain you have ALL the bolts removed?

Yes they were razorblade trick worked a treat.
