Sigh, putting accesories back on the motor dropped a washer down where the waterpump outlet is, what should I do to get it out? Flexy magnetic thing waterpump off timing cover off? Anyone know where that would lead to?

Yeah try the magnet mate. You will need to get it out. Otherwise it might jam in the water pump impeller or could cause a blockage somewhere. :(

Oh man with how much time I've spent + need to spend on putting this car back together I couldn't let myself leave a washer in a motor. Well, hell. Probably wouldn't leave a washer n a commodore motor n that's saying something. I need to change the water pump anyway I just didn't know where that hole goes to, if I pull the pump is that where it'll be sitting or could it have gone elsewhere?

Rotate it on the engine stand and give it a bit of a jiggle.
Lash caps down the front chain hole gap are much more fun.
